The Flying Nun is an American fantasy sitcom television series about a community of nuns which included one who could fly when the wind caught her cornette. It was produced by Screen Gems for ABC based on the 1965 book The Fifteenth Pelican, written by Tere Ríos. Sally Field starred as the title character, Sister Bertrille.
The series originally ran on ABC from September 7, 1967, to April 3, 1970, producing 82 episodes, including a one-hour pilot episode.
This is the third season of "The Flying Nun", starring Sally Field. The episodes are beautifully remastered in 1080p. They run 25-26 minutes each. Please see photos for sample of quality. Season 3 has been cropped to widescreen format.
Seasons 1 and 2 were officially released on DVD by Sony and are now out of print. Season 3 has never been released officially. We are releasing season 3 by itself for those who already have seasons 1 and 2 and don't want to double dip. Please keep in mind these are all remastered in 1080p, and the official DVDs are in standard definition.
This is region free and will play in any standard Blu Ray player as well as PlayStation. It will not play correctly in XBox.
